Ranger of the Night
This painting is a kind of remix of some of my earlier paintings. I love to imagine what might exist beyond the reach of our senses, conjured up by the tremendous power of nature.
This huge being materialises only after dark, late enough for most humans to be asleep. Formed of combined essences of space and earth, it travels the world, carried along by the night. Materialising only briefly in each location, it watches quietly, before dissolving back into the glitter of the stars.
